The short version: this site has a contact form that emails me, and anonymous analytics that set no cookies. There's no tracking across other sites, no advertising pixels, and no mailing list you get added to without asking. The typeface is served from this site rather than from Google, so loading a page here doesn't announce you to anyone else.

The contact form
If you use the form on the contact page, it collects your name, email address, an optional company name, and your message.
That goes over an encrypted connection to a function running on Amazon Web Services in London (eu-west-2), which immediately turns it into an email to me and forgets it. There's no database and no customer record. The email lands in my mailbox, which is hosted by Hostinger, and it stays there as long as any other business correspondence would — I clear out old enquiries periodically.
The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you've asked me a question and I need your details to answer it. I don't use the address for anything else, and I won't add you to a list.
The execution health check
The health check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and your score are never transmitted anywhere, aren't saved between visits, and I never see them. Closing the tab discards them.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. None at all — which is why you haven't been asked to agree to any.
I do want to know which writing is worth doing more of, so the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It's a privacy-focused alternative to Google Analytics, and it works without identifying you:
- No cookies, and nothing at all stored on your device.
- No fingerprinting and no persistent identifier. Repeat visits aren't linked together, so I can't tell a returning reader from a new one.
- No tracking across other websites. Nothing is sold or passed to advertisers.
What I see is aggregate and anonymous: how many people opened a page, which search engine or website sent them, roughly which country they were in, and what browser they used. I can't see who you are, and I can't follow an individual through the site.
Because this stores nothing on your device, it doesn't require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, which is the law that makes cookie banners necessary. If you'd still rather not be counted, any standard tracker blocker will exclude you and nothing on the site will break.
Cloudflare is a US company operating a global network, so this data may be processed outside the UK. That's covered by their data processing terms, which incorporate the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Other services this site touches
- Amazon Web Services hosts the site and runs the contact form. Their servers log standard request information, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
- Calendly handles call bookings. The "book a call" buttons take you to Calendly's own site, where their privacy policy applies rather than mine.
- Cloudflare provides the anonymous analytics described above.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask me for a copy of any personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to my holding it at all. In practice, for this site, that means the emails from any enquiry you've sent. Email robin@outcome-vectors.co.uk and I'll deal with it within one month.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. I'd rather you told me first so I can put it right.
Changes
If this policy changes materially I'll update the date at the top. There's no version history worth keeping for a site this size.
